Background:
At the City Council meeting of April 15, 2025, it was moved by Council Member Irving, with majority approval, to agendize an item for discussion and possible action to approve a written letter of reference on the City's letterhead for Terrance Stone former CSAC committee member in support of his nomination to receive an honorary doctorate degree in humanities from Elbon Solutions College of Ministry, that the letter be authored by either Mayor Becerra or Councilwoman Leslie Irving and be addressed to Elbon College of Ministry Solutions Nomination Committee.
Discussion:
This item is being presented to Council so that Council can further discuss whether to approve a written letter of reference on the City's letterhead for Terrance Stone former CSAC committee member in support of his nomination to receive an honorary doctorate degree in humanities from Elbon Solutions College of Ministry, that the letter be authored by either Mayor Becerra or Councilwoman Leslie Irving and be addressed to Elbon College of Ministry Solutions Nomination Committee.
