Notice of Completion – Fire Station 311, 312, & 313 Bay Door Replacements and Motors, Project JM24-049
Recommendation:
That the Honorable City Council accept as complete and approve the Notice of Completion for the Fire Station 311, 312, & 313 Bay Door Replacements and Motors, Project JM24-049 and authorize the City Manager to execute the Notice of Completion.
Fiscal Impact:
There is no fiscal impact associated with this item. Retention in the amount of five percent was withheld from each payment application during the course of construction as per the construction agreement. The retention of $9,217.10 will be released after City Council approval and the recording of the Notice of Completion. The retention account numbers, account descriptions, and amounts withheld are shown in the table below.

The City of Victorville Strategic Plan 2023-2026 identifies multi-year strategic goals and various strategies to work toward achieving those goals. The Fire Station 311, 312, & 313 Bay Door Replacements and Motors, Project JM24-049 aligns with Strategic Goal E.
Investment in Infrastructure – Creating a healthy and livable community by maintaining the City’s assets through investment in infrastructure and innovations.
Background:
On September 17, 2024, the City Council unanimously awarded a construction agreement to Precision Garage Doors & Gates, Inc. in the amount of $184,342.00 for Fire 4 1

Station 311, 312, & 313 Bay Door Replacements and Motors, Project JM24-049. There were no change orders executed during the course of construction.
Discussion:
The Fire Station 311, 312, & 313 Bay Door Replacements and Motors, Project JM24-049 was completed on April 25, 2025, within the contract expiration date and to the satisfaction of staff. Therefore, staff are requesting the approval and filing of the Notice of Completion for this project (Attachment B).
