California
is
celebrating
175
years
of
statehood
kicking
off
Tuesday,
September
9,
2025
through
summer
2026
when
the
United
States
will
celebrate
the
250th
anniversary
of
the
signing
of
the
Declaration
of
Independence.
The
California
Governor’s
Office
is
encouraging
people
across
the
Golden
State
to
celebrate
and
highlight
California’s
ingenuity
and
innovation,
resilience,
joy
and
sense
of
belonging
while
encouraging
civic
engagement,
storytelling
and
creative
partnerships.
As
part
of
this
celebration,
the
Governor’s
Office
is
also
collaborating
with
America250
,
a
non-partisan
non-profit,
encouraging
residents
to
observe
the
nation’s
milestone
anniversary
through
a
series
of
opportunities.
CELEBRATE

YOUR

We
want
this
to
truly
be
a
celebration
for
all
Californians
across
the
state.
To
help

the
