RESOLUTION NO. 25-061
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
VICTORVILLE ACCEPTING A $25,000 GRANT AWARD FROM THE
YUHAAVIATAM OF SAN MANUEL NATION AND AMENDING THE
ANNUAL BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR 2025 -2026; APPROVING
ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS AND ADDITIONAL REVENUE
AND EXPENDITURES FOR THE YUHAAVIATAM OF SAN MANUEL
NATION CARES GRANT
WHEREAS, the City Manager of the City of Victorville (the “City”) did heretofore submit to the City Council an estimate of the expenditures and revenues of the City departments and offices, together with a proposed budget for the fiscal year 2025- 2026; and
WHEREAS, copies of said budget were prepared and distributed to the City Council, approved by the City Council prior to June 30, 2025 and have been available for the inspection by the public in the office of the City Clerk of the City; and
WHEREAS, the City has been notified of the award of grant funding in the amount of Twenty-Five Thousand Dollars ($25,000.00) from the 2025 Yuhaaviatam of San Manuel Nation Cares Grant Program to provide funding in support of City ’s Animal Care and Adoption Center - Accessible Spay & Neuter Program; and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to amend the annual budget as set forth in this Resolution with respect to the acceptance of the grant and recognize the associated increase in revenue and expenditures.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
VICTORVILLE DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the annual budget for the fiscal year 2025- 2026 for the City of Victorville be hereby amended to reflect a change in the amounts and associated accounts listed below and as described in the corresponding Agenda Item:

SECTION 2. That copies of such amended budget, certified by the City Clerk, shall be filed with the auditors of the City and in the office of the City Clerk for public inspection and certified copies thereof shall be made available for use by the City departments, offices and subsidiary districts of the City.
SECTION 3 That this Resolution shall be effective immediately as of the date of adoption.
SECTION 4. That the City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this Resolution; shall enter the same in the book of original Resolutions of the City; and shall make a minute of passage and adoption thereof in the records of the proceedings of the City Council, in the minutes of the meeting at which this Resolution is passed and adopted.
