That the Honorable City Council review and file the attached Quarterly Activity Report.

This item aligns with Strategic Plan Goal A, Financial Sustainability, and Goal G, Organizational Effectiveness and Sustainability. The Finance Department will continue to present these reports to the Council and the community to ensure the efficient and ethical use of financial resources.
Background:
The City's Finance Department is dedicated to serving both its citizens and other City departments by providing transparent, timely, comprehensive, and accurate information with absolute integrity in everything we do. The main goal of the Finance department is to manage the City’s resources effectively and ensure fiscal responsibility.
Discussion:
As part of our ongoing commitment to the goals outlined in the adopted Strategic Plan, the Finance Department plays a crucial role in preparing, managing, and monitoring the annual budget to ensure efficient resource allocation. The department is responsible for collecting taxes, fees, and other revenues to fund essential public services, while thoroughly monitoring expenditures to ensure compliance with laws and policies.
Additionally, the department prepares precise financial statements that promote transparency and accountability, enabling effective decision-making through reliable and transparent financial information.
