Satisfaction and Release of Land Division Improvement Construction Agreement for Parcel Map No. 15144
Recommendation:
That the Honorable City Council approve the release of the Land Division Improvement Construction Agreement for Parcel Map No. 15144.
Fiscal Impact:
There is no fiscal impact as a result of this action.
Strategic Plan Goal:
This item aligns with “Goal E Invest in Infrastructure” in the City of Victorville Strategic Plan 2023-2026. Although this is not a Capital Improvement Project, the City applies the same strategy to private development projects as they are essential in meeting the community’s needs.
Background:
Parcels 1 and 2 of Parcel Map No. 15144 are located on Bear Valley Road, west of Mall Boulevard. They were once part of Parcel Map No. 9517, for which a Land Division Improvement Construction Agreement was executed by Mr. David O. and Elizabeth I.
Daily for multiple public improvements. These improvements are defined in the existing Land Division Improvement Construction Agreement and include water, drainage, sewer, streets, and monumentation (Attachment B). The terms of the agreement were fulfilled when the parcels developed.
Discussion:
Since the improvements specified in the Land Division Improvement Construction Agreement recorded November 27, 1985, have been completed on the Bear Valley Road frontage of Parcel Number 3095-221-28, the property owner has requested that the 4 6

agreement be released at this time. Therefore, staff recommends that the Land Division Improvement Construction Agreement for Parcel Map No.15144 be released in its entirety at this time.
