SOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
VICTORVILLE, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING ACCEPTANCE OF THE
CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF RESOURCES RECYCLING AND
RECOVERY (CALRECYCLE) CITY/COUNTY PAYMENT PROGRAM
GRANT FISCAL YEAR 2025 -26 AND AMENDING THE CITY OF
VICTORVILLE ANNUAL BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR 2025-26

HEREAS, pursuant to Public Resources Code § 14581(a)(3)(A) of the CA Beverage Container and Litter Reduction Act et seq. the California State Department of Resources Recycling and Recovery (CalRecycle) distributes payments to qualifying jurisdictions for implementation of beverage container recycling activities; and W
HEREAS, the Victorville City Council previously adopted Resolution No. 23- 080 on October 3, 2023, which authorized the City to apply for CalRecycle payment program grants; and

HEREAS, CalRecycle has notified the City that grant funds have been awarded to the City for Beverage Container Recycling City/County Payment Program, Cycle Fiscal Year 2025-26.

W, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VICTORVILLE DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:

ection 1. The City of Victorville is authorized to accept the City/County Payment Program Cycle Fiscal Year 2025-26 grant funds from CalRecycle.

ection 2. The City of Victorville Fiscal Year 2025- 26 budget shall be amended to reflect additional revenues in the amount of $ 35,029 (2704052-43110-21389) and additional ex penses in the amount of $ 12,000 for Supplies (2704052-52110-21389), $3,000 for Training and Education (2704052- 25140-21389), $10,029 for Advertising (2704052-52170-21389), and $10,000 for Contract Services (2704052-52300-21389).

ection 3. That copies of such amended budget, certified by the City Clerk, shall be filed with the auditors of the City of Victorville and in the office of the City Clerk for public inspection and certified copies thereof shall be made available for use by City departments, offices, and subsidiary districts of the City.

ection 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
