This letter certi fies that the methods of image-based data collection, data processing, and data delivery and display utilized by City Detect for real property analysis are unique proprietary technologies that are protected by patent with the United States Patent and Trademark O ffice (Patent Application Number: US 17/383,551). Accordingly, City Detect further protects its technology in accordance with trade secret law and is protected under The Defend Trade Secrets Act of 2016.

To the best of our knowledge, after diligent searching, no competitive company employs the technology utilized by City Detect in its Property Condition Analysis Service. Nor does any competitive company possess a license or authorization to use our proprietary technology and methods. If you would like any additional information, please feel free to reach out using the details below. I am happy to discuss.

Our proprietary advantage is multifaceted. City Detect solely owns our carefully curated dataset of several million labeled images that is precisely calibrated to be responsive to the needs of Code Enforcement and building o fficials pertaining to housing and blight characteristics. We developed this data set and our underlying state-of-the-art proprietary machine-learning models to serve our government customers.

Additionally, we are the only group that has the full-scale infrastructure to include the hardware collection system speci
fically designed for housing, the cloud infrastructure necessary to process the speci fic type of data that we are processing and analyzing, and the web application carefully tailored to our client demand within local government agencies for streamlined viewing and use of the data.

On behalf of City Detect Inc., we are excited to support your mission to preserve the built environment!

Sincerely,

Gavin Baum-Blake, CEO & Co-Founder
