A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF VICTORVILLE, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE
ANNUAL BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR 2026-2027;
APPROVING AN ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION OF FUND
414 TO INCREASE THE BUDGET FOR THE 1MG SCLA
RECLAIMED WATER RESERVOIR 2
WHEREAS, the General Manager of the Victorville Water District ("District") did heretofore submit to the Board of Directors (Board) an estimate of the expenditures and revenues of the City Departments and offices, together with a proposed budget for the fiscal year 2026-2027; and
WHEREAS, copies of said budget were prepared and distributed to the Board, approved by the Board prior to June 2, 2026, and have been available for the inspection by the public in the office of the Secretary of the District ("Secretary") of the Victorville Water District; and
WHEREAS, the 1MG SCLA Reclaimed Water Reservoir 2 is listed in the Capital Improvement Projects for fiscal year 2026-2027; and
WHEREAS, the cost of construction deems it necessary to amend the Capital Improvement Budget for 2026-2027; and
WHEREAS, the General Manager or his designee will provide all necessary justification for the budget amendment as an attachment to this resolution or in the associated Board of Directors agenda report; and
WHEREAS, the Board, wishes to amend the annual budget as set forth in this Resolution and recognize the associated increase in expenditures.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE BOAD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
OF VICTORVILLE, CALIFORNIA, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the annual; budget for the fiscal year 2026-2027 for the Victorville Water District
is hereby amended to reflect an increase in the 1 MG SCLA Reclaimed Water Reservoir 2 Water Capacity expenditure account 4144500-55360-74373 in the amount of Six Million Seventy-One Thousand Nine Hundred Eight Dollars and 53 Cents ($6,071,908.53) as described in the corresponding Agenda Item Staff Report for the Board of Directors of September 1, 2026.

That copies of such amended budget, certified by the Secretary, shall be filed with the auditors of the Victorville Water District and in the office of the Secretary for public inspection and certified copies thereof shall be made available for use by City Departments, offices and subsidiary districts of the District.
SECTION 3. That this Resolution becomes effective immediately upon its adoption.
