ORDINANCE NO. 2022-02
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VISALIA
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE FOUR INDIVIDUAL LEASE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF VISALIA AND ROBIN MARTELLA, RICK BISSAT, JUAN RODRIGUEZ, AND JOE DAWKINS FOR ONE UNIT EACH IN THE NEWLY CONSTRUCTED LARGE BOX HANGAR AT VISALIA MUNICIPAL AIRPORT FOR THE PURPOSE OF AIRCRAFT STORAGE WHEREAS, the City of Visalia owns and operates certain real property commonly referred to as the Visalia Municipal Airport and, WHEREAS, the City of Visalia owns and operates a newly constructed Large Box Hangar with four (4) units available at Visalia Municipal Airport and, WHEREAS, the City of Visalia and Visalia Municipal Airport wish to enter into Individual Lease Agreements with Robin Martella, Rick Bissat, Juan Rodriguez, and Joe Dawkins for one unit each from the four available units of the demised premises and, WHEREAS, the said demised premises is more particularly shown on Exhibit A attached hereto onto the proposed Lease Agreement and consists of 5,000 sq feet per identical unit.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VISALIA,
Section 1. The City Manager of the City of Visalia is hereby authorized to execute on behalf of the City of Visalia, four individual lease agreements between the City of Visalia as Lessor and Robin Martella, Rick Bissat, Juan Rodriguez, and Joe Dawkins as Lessees, for a four-year period with one renewable period of up to an additional six year for a total term not to exceed ten years.
Section 2. This ordinance shall go into effect thirty (30) days after its passage.
