RESOLUTION NO. 2022-37
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF VISALIA
ADOPTING THE CITY INVESTMENT POLICY
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Visalia has adopted the Statement of Investment Policy; and
WHEREAS, California Government Code section 53646 requires annual review and adoption of the Investment Policy; and
WHEREAS, the authority to manage the City’s investment program is derived from the City’s Charter; and
WHEREAS, California Government Code section 53607 requires the authority to invest the funds of the City to be delegated annually to the Finance Director/Treasurer,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Visalia adopt the City of Visalia Statement of Investment Policy and delegate responsibility for the investment program to the Finance Director/Treasurer.
