RESOLUTION NO. 2022-39
DESIGNATION OF A PORTION OF CITY OWNED PROPERTY LOCATED AT LOT “A” OF HIGHLAND PARK ESTATES
WHEREAS, Section 1806(b) of the California Streets and Highways Code states that no public or private street or road shall become a city street or road until the governing body, by resolution, has caused the street or road to be accepted into the city street system; and WHEREAS, the City of Visalia owns the following parcels of real property in the City of Visalia, County of Tulare, State of California:
Lot “A” of Highland Park Estates, recorded December 21st, 2021, in volume 44 of maps, at page 79 Tulare County Records.
WHEREAS, the City of Visalia desires to designate a portion of this parcel of real property as part of the existing public street, Riggin Avenue, and to accept this designated area into the City Street System, said portion is more particularly described as follows, see Exhibit “A” (legal description) and Exhibit “B” (plat of the area).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Visalia does hereby designate the above-described public street segments over said parcels of real property as a public street and accepts this public street into the City Street System.
