I am writing to express support for Family Healthcare Network’s (FHCN) proposal to establish a PACE program to serve frail seniors residing in parts of Tulare and Kings Counties. PACE, or Program for All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly, will be a welcome addition to our community’s supportive services for this vulnerable population.
Family HealthCare Network is one of the largest non-profit Federally Qualified Health Centers in the nation. Family HealthCare Network operates 42 clinical sites, located throughout Tulare, Fresno, and Kings Counties, seeing more than 1.1 million visits annually. The mission of FHCN is to provide quality health care to all. With over 300 clinical providers in the network, FHCN provides access to a wide range of coordinated health services, including family medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, dentistry, pharmacy, internal medicine, behavioral health, nutrition, health education, and case management. Family HealthCare Network also offers an array of specialty services such as optometry, chiropractic care, podiatry, general surgery, and more. Free transportation and extended evening and weekend hours are also offered at FHCN sites.
