Dear VisaliaAnimal Services,
TheCaliforniaAnimal WelfareFundersCollaborative(“Grantor”) ishonoredtoawardVisaliaAnimal Services(the“Grantee”) agrant of $7,500.00(the“Grant”). Thesefundsaredesignatedfor thepurposeset forthinyour grantapplicationandcomplywiththerequirementsoutlinedbelowinthisagreement (the“Agreement”).
1. TheGranteeisa501(c)(3) nonprofit animal welfarecharityor government shelter andhassubmittedagrantapplicationtotheCaliforniaAnimal WelfareFundersCollaborativerequestingtobeawardedagrant.
2. Granteewill utilizethegrant for thecharitablepurposeoutlinedinthegrant applicationandasstipulatedbelow:
a. Offer TNRto175catsfromcontractedcities.
3. Granteeswill participateinroutineprogrammaticcoachingsessionswithacollaborativepartner.
4. Granteewill informGrantor immediatelyof anyissuesrelatingtotheuseof thegrant fundsinrelationtothetermsoutlinedabove.
5. Granteeagreestofull transparencyinreportingof Grant detailsandstatisticsasrequestedbytheGrantor. a. Amount of grant fundsspentb. Number of animalsimpactedc. Summaryof progressincludingchallengesandsuccessesd. Additional shelter statsasrequested
6. Granteewill acknowledgefinancial support for theproject fromtheCaliforniaAnimal WelfareFundersCollaborativeontheir websiteand/or annual report
7. Granteeagreesnot touseanyof thegrant fundstoinfluencelegislation, toinfluencetheoutcomeof anyelection,or tocarryonanyvoter registrationdrives. Byacceptingthisgrant, youconfirmthat Granteeiscompliant withallrelevant laws, includingbusinesslicensinglawsandall employment andwage/hour laws.
ThisAgreement shall begovernedbyandinterpretedinaccordancewiththelawsof theStateof California. Anydisputesarisingout of or relatedtothisAgreement will beresolvedinaCaliforniaStateCourt of competent jurisdictioninLosAngelesCounty, California. Bysigningbelow, Granteeacknowledgesandagreestothetermsof thisAgreement.
