Addendum No. 01 is being issued to answer questions received pertaining to the project , to provide current wage information, and to provide an additional form to be included in bid submittal . This addendum becomes part of the Contract Documents for the above project and must be signed and submitted with the Bid.
ITEM 1: QUESTIONS/RESPONSES
Q1. Do you have an approximate work start date?
R1. Ideally the contract will have a start date of November 1, 2023.
Q2. Who is the current contractor?
R2. Quality Landscape Construction holds the current contract.
Q3. What is the current monthly base amount?
R3. The current month to month contract includes a monthly base amount of $1,183.63 (includes 6,333 sq ft for turf and 42,985 sq ft for planter totaling 49,318 sq ft)
Q4. Does the City intend to award the project in its entirety to a single contractor? R4. The contract will be awarded in its entirety to a single contractor.
Q5. Can you provide a copy of the current contract?
R5. Please see attached.
ITEM 2: WAGE DETERMINATIONS
Wages were checked on 8/23/23 and there were no changes.
ITEM 3: ADDITIONAL FORM REQUIRED

CALIFORNIA LEVINE ACT STATEMENT
California Government Code Section 84308, also known as the “Levine Act,” can prohibit members of the Visalia City Council from participating in any action related to a contract if he or she receives any political contributions totaling more than $250 w ithin the previous twelve (12) months, and for twelve (12) months following the date a final decision concerning the contract has been made, from the person or company awarded the contract. The Levine Act also requires disclosure of such contribution(s) by a party t o be awarded a specific contract.
