ORDINANCE 24-08
APPROVING A LEASE OF UP TO 10 YEARS DURATION
FOR THE TRANSIT OPERATIONS FACILITY
WHEREAS, A 10-year lease has been presented to the City Council of the City of Visalia relating to the real property located at 525 North Cain Street, Visalia, California and commonly known as the Transit Operations and Maintenance Facility, and WHEREAS, Council has determined said lease is in the best interest of the City of Visalia, and WHEREAS, Lease amount will be $1.00 per year for each year of contract term, NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VISALIA that the proposed lease between the City of Visalia and RATP Dev for the use of the Transit Operation and Maintenance Facility for up to a 10-year period is hereby approved, and the City Manager be and is hereby authorized to execute the same on behalf of the City.
