PM-424.2007.1: Siloxane/VOC media change-out services
Dear Ben,
Unison Solutions, Inc. is pleased to provide you with this proposal for spent siloxane/VOC media removal for the City of Visalia biogas conditioning system. This proposal includes siloxane/VOC media change out services only, spent media transportation and disposal to be by others. Please refer to quote PM-424.2007 for information on new replacement media.
SILOXANE/VOC REMOVAL MEDIA CHANGE OUT SERVICES
Includes the following:
• New media must be at the site, ready for the change-out services on scheduled dates. • Assumes no changes to current site conditions and easy access to the vessels • Removal of spent media from 2 – Siloxane /VOC removal vessels, 17,600 lb total • Loading of new media into 2 – Siloxane/VOC removal vessels • Confirmation of tight seals with an air monitor.
• Nitrogen purge after filling new media
• Meeting prevailing wage criteria for the state of California, contractor DIR registration number 1000009862.
SITE RESPONSIBILITIES
• Isolating vessels
• Stopping and restarting the system
PRICING SUMMARY
Included in pricing is transportation of personnel to/from site, removal of spent media and loading of new material, ____________$25,900 /change
Note that the siloxane removal media may be eligible for recycling. To determine this, a spent media sample would need to be provided 4 weeks prior to the change out for testing. If the waste profile is determined acceptable for recycling, the spent media will be removed from site immediately after the change out has been completed. The recycled material then becomes the property of the recycler for use in other applications. Spent media testing__________$350.00/sample
If the media is not tested for recycling, the owner is responsible for all testing, disposal, and transportation costs.
