Here's my advocacy.....wanting to improve "run down" ( for our poorest citizens in poorest areas) areas due to 40,000 lbs solid waste trucks destroying private access road usually near alley Apt parking
...this is in no way a slam on Solid Waste or COV or drivers! Should be in all caps!
Just... over the years wear and tear issue and unforeseeable development of practices and procedures over time ...of dumping trash bins
Here's the issue ...older and I in no way mean recent projects ...allowed & permitted asphalt type area driveways around the trash's bin / trash enclosure area of an Apt complex
Completely unforeseeable was the effect of not ordering, making a requirement that the area near any trash bin be a concrete slab ...similar to what is installed now at every bus stop.....to protect the driving area for the immense weight and dumping rolling motion of the trash bin into the truck ....huge forces at work
Why?
The humongous weight of the truck will eventually over time ....absolutely destroy the asphalt to a pulp...
Got examples
Since this is an overlap of public service, in the right of way into private driveway area exclusively into Apts complexes
Want to look a possible city , private right of way partnership to restore these destroyed access driveways using city resources and uplift the poorest areas of the the city ....the whole point of CDBG monies in laymans opinion
Got three to five major examples
