RESOLUTION NO. 2025-12
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VISALIA AUTHORIZING THE City Manager to execute aN EASEMENT between the City of Visalia and Southern California Edison company WHEREAS, the City of Visalia owns and operates certain real property as a landscape outlot within the Shepherds Ranch 1 Subdivision, and being Lot A of Shepherds Ranch 1 Subdivision Map recorded Aug. 22, 2024 in Book 45 of Maps, at Page 26; and WHEREAS, the City of Visalia desires to grant an easement over said property for the benefit of Southern California Edison Company for the purposes of installation and maintenance of electric distribution facilities; and WHEREAS, pursuant to the Charter of the City of Visalia, the City Council may by resolution authorize the grant of an interest in real property, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VISALIA:
The City Manager of the City of Visalia be, and is hereby authorized, subject to the City Attorney’s approval as to form, to execute on behalf of the City of Visalia, that certain Grant of Easement to Southern California Edison Company in the form as provided in Attachment 1 attached hereto, and is further authorized to make any necessary or appropriate administrative changes to Attachment 1.
