This is a reminder that the last day to submit a comment on the Revised Public Review DraŌ of the City of Visalia’s ResidenƟal ObjecƟve Design Standards is Monday, March 31, 2025. A copy of the DraŌ Ordinance is aƩached to this email.
We anƟcipate that the City Council public hearing date to consider adopƟng this DraŌ Ordinance will be Monday, April 21, though we will confirm this in a later email.

Subject: Visalia's Residential Objective Design Standards - Revised Public Review Draft Out Now
Hello all,
The Revised Public Review DraŌ of the City of Visalia’s ResidenƟal ObjecƟve Design Standards is out for public comment. A copy of the ordinance is aƩached to this email. AddiƟonally, the ordinance can be viewed and downloaded from the project website (www.housevisalia.com; click on Zoning Code Update at the top of the page).
Again, these revised standards are the result of City Council direcƟon and addiƟonal engagement conducted with the local development community which included many of you.
The draŌ standards are available for public review and comment through Monday, March 31, 2025. To submit a comment on the draŌ standards, "Comments" buƩon on the email directly to me at [email protected], or submit your comments directly through the website. Details will come later regarding a future public hearing, possibly occurring in late April 2025.
