Re: CPI Rate Increase for Engineering and Building Department Services Agreement Dear Mr. Huckleberry,
We appreciate the opportunity to continue supporting the City of Visalia with Engineering and Building Department Services. Per our professional services agreement, our hourly rates listed below shall be automatically increased annually based upon the annual increase in the Department of Labor, Bureau of Labor Statistics or successor thereof, Consumer Price Index (CPI) unless a mutually agreed upon rate increase is established. Such an increase shall not exceed 4% per year. This letter is to inform the city that current rates in the contract will be escalated using the current 3.2% CPI and will become effective on the contract anniversary of November 1st 2025. The new rates for the amendment are as follows:
