I am writing to express our support for the extension of the Water Conservation Ordinance (Chapter 13.20) at the current Stage (2).
Specifically, Section 13.20.060 provides a framework for identifying water waste that mirrors our Rule 14.1. These elements, in combination with our award-winning conservation program, have resulted in increased water-use efficiency and significant reductions in per capita water use.
We are proud of our partnership with the City of Visalia and look forward to continuing our coordination to support Visalia residents and strengthen water-use efficiency.
