Mayor Taylor called the meeting to order at 4:04 p.m.

1. 25-0728Planning Commissioner Interviews - Conduct interviews and appoint one applicant to fill the upcoming Planning Commission vacancy for the unexpired term ending June 30, 2027, or reopen the recruitment process.
City Council conducted interviews with the following applicants for the Planning Commission: Joseph Halford, Kevin Bernardo, Fred Sheriff, Nathan Halls, Efrain Becerra, and Hector Prado Delgado. Each applicant provided background information and responded to questions from the Council.
Following the interviews, the Council engaged in discussion regarding the applicants’ qualifications, experience, and interest in serving on the Planning Commission. After deliberation, the Council proceeded with the appointment process.
A motion was made by Council Member Poochigian to appoint Nathan Halls to the Planning Commission to fill the unexpired term ending June 30, 2027, effective March 24, 2026. The motion was seconded by Vice Mayor Wynn and carried with the following vote:
