RESOURCES & MATERIALS
The Kaweah MLRP is reopening this solicitation to enroll more projects with clear groundwater sustainability benefits. Applications must develop projects that provide groundwater benefits by transitioning irrigated agricultural land to less water-intensive use(s) and create an additional benefit for rural communities, economies, and/or ecosystems. Applications that design projects with measurable water savings and/or groundwater recharge elements will be prioritized. These funds are exclusively for project planning, design, and/or permitting, and are not eligible to fund the implementation of projects.
