Actually put thought on the stop locations. Most of the stops are literally in the worst locations that can be thought of that are not pedestrian friendly. And actually put stops instead of leaving wide gaps in between stops.Neutral 07/22/2026 Facebook
The rt 17 should pick up Wyndham and sjvc, that way the rt 15 won't be late when there's a Wyndham request, because the rt 15 can puck those passengers up at VMC. Oppose

Take away sjvc and wyndmm away from route 15. Have route 17 do the Wyndham requests and sjvc. And have route 17 do a regular non request run to Plaza Park and the airport. That will have that whole area covered. And it will give route 15 drivers a chance to make their time points. And will make the route 15 a little shorter. Rt 15 route is way too rushed, and way to long to have people on the bus or waiting for it to roll by. Also. Daily requests for a bus route that goes from transit down north ben Maddox passing in front of the food 4 less to Houston. Need a bus that covers that area, and perhaps have it also cruise by the dmv also. Oppose

I have been BEGGING for a direct route to NSV and was told no multiple times because the route didn't make sense. I feel like it's intentional. If we can get enough voices together we can advocate for better routes. In my opinion, they don't have a citizen led body or even a direct transportation department so it's led by people who don't ride the bus or understand ridership. I really appreciate you naming this because I know someone reads these comments but happy to get you emails so your voice in counted on public record.Support 07/22/2026 Instagram Remove no one rides it Support

I hope this email finds you in good health . I recently moved to visalia from fresno for my job,I work at amazon at kibler(8817 kibler). It was very hard for me to commute from Fresno to Visalia everyday so i decided to move closer and i take route 17 sat-wed(5 days) to go to work . If this route is discontinued ,it will effect my wallet drastically. I hope there are enough people in the favor of Keeping the route active. Thanks you,Vishavdeep Singh Oppose 07/22/2026 Instagram
Why take a bus stop away from businesses and a school? more business, homes and probably schools are going to be coming and you are taking away bus stops that people probably use because some "results" weren't up to standards. You can say that about the 1, 5, or even the 2 on some certain hours of the day. Are you going to replace or make the 15 do more stops? If someone from FPU or Amazon is having car troubles, they might use the bus and you are making it more of an issue. Oppose
07/22/2026 Instagram Stop cutting public transit! Visalia should be investing not cutting! Oppose 07/22/2026 Facebook Don't cut routes to schools and jobs. More development is going that way. Oppose 07/22/2026 Facebook Commented he uses Route 17 to work every day. Oppose 07/22/2026 Facebook It'll matter in the future as house developments start growing in that area Oppose If Route 17 is discontinued, how soon would the city reevaluate transportation needs in the area? As we all know, the neighborhoods this route serves are growing rapidly, with new housing developments and additional shopping planned in the Costco complex.

Ride coverage or perhaps offering discounted rates for
alternative transportation options? Just some thoughts 😁.
Maybe this type of review has already happened, but it seems the city could really benefit from bringing in a consultant to evaluate route structure, efficiency, and potential improvements to metro‑wide coverage.
Happy travels all 🚌🚌😊😊
