RECOMMENDATION: Adopt City Council Resolution No. 2022- , amending the regular meeting dates for 2022.
CORRELATION TO CITY COUNCIL GOALS: Routine operational item not corresponding to a specific City Council goal.
PRIOR ACTION: On November 9, 2021, adopted City Council Resolution No. 2021-183, setting regular meeting dates for 2022 (Vote: 5-0).
On November 10, 2020, adopted City Council Resolution No. 2020-182, setting regular meeting dates for 2021 (Vote: 5-0).
Please refer to Exhibit 1 for a complete list of prior City Council actions.
STATEMENT ON THE SUBJECT: Pursuant to Section 2.12.030.A of the Vista Municipal Code, the City Council adopted regular meeting dates for 2022 by resolution. To ensure that all voters have an opportunity to vote at the November 8, 2022, general municipal election, staff recommends the meeting originally scheduled on that date be moved to Tuesday, November 15, 2022.
FISCAL IMPACT: There is no direct fiscal impact associated with the staff recommendation.

RESOLUTION NO. 2022-
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CHARTERED CITY OF VISTA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING REGULAR MEETING DATES FOR 2022 The City Council the City of Vista does resolve as follows:
1. Findings. The City Council hereby finds and declares the following:
A. Pursuant to Section 2.12.030.A of the Vista Municipal Code, the City Council shall identify regular meeting dates for the City by resolution.
B. The City Council desires to amend the previously adopted meeting dates.
2. Action.
A. The regular meeting date of November 8, 2022 is changed to November 15, 2022.
B. All other meeting dates, as adopted by Resolution No 2021-183, remain in effect.
3. Adoption.
