RECOMMENDATION: Discuss opportunities to expand recreational programs and/or scholarships for youth and provide direction to staff.
PRIOR ACTION: On October 11, 2022, City Council discussed allocating excess cannabis revenues and provided direction to staff (Vote: Consensus).
STATEMENT ON THE SUBJECT: Deputy Mayor Contreras requested the City Manager place a discussion item on an upcoming agenda to discuss expanding recreational youth opportunities.
FISCAL IMPACT: There is no direct fiscal impact associated with this discussion item.
