PRIOR ACTION: On June 27, 2023, adopted City Council Resolution No. 2023-124 authorizing the City to enter a purchase agreement for a parcel or real property located at 536 Matagual Drive (APN 164-241- 42) (Vote: 5-0).
STATEMENT ON THE SUBJECT: On June 27, 2023, the City Council approved the purchase of 536 Matagual Drive for use as a City park. Monies from certain specific City accounts need to be transferred to the City’s general fund to complete the purchase of said property.
FISCAL IMPACT: Funding is budgeted in the Future Property Purchase Fund Balance Account, the General Fund Capital Source Appropriation Account and the Park Development Fund Balance Account.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CHARTERED CITY OF
VISTA, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS FOR THE PURCHASE OF 536 MATAGUAL DRIVE, VISTA, CALIFORNIA
The City Council of the City of Vista does resolve as follows:
1. Findings. The City Council hereby finds and declares the following:
A. On June 27, 2023 the City Council adopted Resolution 2023-124 approving the purchase of 536 Matagual Drive, Vista, California for public park purposes.
B. The City Council desires to appropriate the necessary funds needed to purchase 536 Matagual Drive, Vista, California.
2. Action.
A. Funds, in the amounts specified in Exhibit A, shall be transferred between the accounts set forth in Exhibit A and appropriated for the purpose of purchasing 536 Matagual Drive, Vista, California.
B. Any transferred funds not used to purchase 536 Matagual Drive, Vista, California shall be transferred back to the account from which the funds were transferred from.
3. Adoption. PASSED AND ADOPTED at a meeting of the City Council of the City of Vista held on August 8, 2023, by the following vote:
