Dear [Recipient Name],

I am writing to you on behalf of Dr. Bronner’s Magic Soaps, a Vista-based company committed to supporting individuals experiencing homelessness in our community. We are reaching out to ask you to join us in supporting the Vista Safe Parking Meal Program, by providing nutritious meals to our unsheltered residents utilizing the Vista Safe Parking Program.

Homelessness is a complex issue that affects countless individuals and families in our community. The City of Vista has partnered with Jewish Family Service to provide 25 safe parking spaces for those living in their vehicles, but there is a critical need to also address basic necessities such as access to food. With daily delivery of individually packaged and medically tailored meals, the Program aims to alleviate hunger and provide a sense of stability and dignity for individuals and families who are facing uncertain circumstances.

To ensure the Vista Safe Parking Meal Program is available to all Safe Parking guests, Dr.

Bronner’s has provided a matching grant for 50% of the program costs for the rest of 2024.

We are asking generous local companies like yours to consider matching our contribution and ensuring some of the most vulnerable people in our community have access to nutritious meals.

Your contribution will:

Provide nutritious meals: Your donation will enable daily delivery of fresh-cooked wholesome meals for individuals and families utilizing the Vista Safe Parking Program.

Foster community support: By making a tax-deductible donation to the Vista Safe Parking Meal Program, your company will be joining a community of caring individuals and organizations dedicated to supporting vulnerable populations in our area.

Promote dignity and well-being: Access to regular meals not only addresses immediate hunger but also promotes dignity and well-being among those facing homelessness, empowering them to focus on their journey towards stability and self-sufficiency.

Please consider matching all or a portion of our contribution of $2,600 per month to allow the Vista Safe Parking Meal Program to operate 7 days a week.

Please feel free to contact me directly at 760-807-6201 or [email protected] to discuss how we can collaborate further or if you have any questions on the Meal Program. Jonathan Lung, City of Vista Homeless Services Program Manager, is also available at 760-643-5209 or [email protected] to provide you with additional information.

Thank you for your commitment to making our community a better place for all.

Warm regards,
Michael Bronner
