RECOMMENDATION: Adopt City Council Resolution No. 2024- , setting regular meeting dates for 2025.
CORRELATION TO CITY COUNCIL GOALS: Routine operational item not corresponding to a specific City Council goal.
PRIOR ACTION: On December 12, 2023, introduced an adopted City Council Ordinance No. 2023-14, amending Chapter 2.12 of the Vista Municipal Code regarding City Council Workshop dates and times; and adopted City Council Resolution No. 2023-203, setting regular meeting dates for 2024 (Vote: 5-0) On March 14, 2023, adopted City Council Resolution No. 2023-26, amending the regular meeting dates for 2023 (Vote: 5-0).

STATEMENT ON THE SUBJECT: Pursuant to Section 2.12.030.A of the Vista Municipal Code, the City Council shall annually identify regular meeting dates for the City by resolution. The Regular Meeting in November is proposed to be scheduled on Thursday, November 13, due to the Veteran’s Day holiday. The proposed resolution (Exhibit 1) establishes the regular meeting dates for 2025.
FISCAL IMPACT: There is no direct fiscal impact associated with the staff recommendation.
