03 "Know your Rights"

So people wwhc received this rraessag don`t refers get er s o Dear Vista City Council,
I strongly support having "Know your rights" workshops for our community of Vista.
Especially in light of State Senator Brian Jones, with support of Mayor John Franklin, trying to amend Senate Bill 54 that makes California a sanctuary state. They claim it's just a simple change in wording. Don't believe them. They want to require that local agencies in law enforcement work with federal agencies. We need to stand up for our immigrant community here in Vista.
Thank you,

So people wwhc received this rraessag don`t niters get er s l r ar :i Poch I am distressed that State Senator Brian Jones (with the support of Mayor Jolui Fray is trying to amend SB 554 that makes California a sanctuary state. I don't want my local law enforcement assisting ICE in in igration aids and I feel instead we need to support our immigrant community. They have businesses, kids m school and they support our economy.
We should be advocating for policies that protect them such as "know your rights" workshops instead of instilling fear.
Thank you!
