Kickoff Meeting Agenda

6:00 p.m. – Avo Playhouse
1. WELCOME AND INTRODUCTIONS – Councilmember Contreras to welcome the committee and open the meeting. Individual introductions of committee members.
2. BROWN ACT COMMITTEE – RULES AND PROCEDURES – City staff to review Brown Act requirements and procedural rules for meetings.
3. SELECTION OF CHAIR AND VICE CHAIR – City staff to facilitate selection of a Chair and Vice Chair.
4. GOALS AND OBJECTIVES FOR THE COMMITTEE –City Staff to present draft goals and objectives from Committee interview input and staff input. Committee to select any common goals and objectives. To revisit final list at next meeting.
5. PRESENTATIONS – Any interested Committee members are welcome to make a 5-10minute presentation to the group on their vision for the future of the Historic Downtown area. (Slides must be provided to staff at least two days prior to the meeting).
6. FUTURE MEETING DATES – Staff to present future meeting dates and accept comments/conflicts from Committee members.
7. Q&A / OPEN FORUM – Staff and Committee to open the floor for questions or comments from the public.
