STATEMENT ON THE SUBJECT: General Fund operating revenues and expenditures are within budgetary expectations as of December 31, 2025. Exhibit 3 provides budgetary and actual revenue information on General Fund revenues. As of December 31, 2025, the City has received 43.2 percent of the General Fund Total Resources (revenues plus other financing sources) projected for the fiscal year.
R
evenues are below the 50 percent mark at this point in the fiscal year. This is common and expected for the second quarter and consistent with prior years, as large revenue sources, such as property tax, vehicle license fee property tax compensation, and certain franchise tax revenues, are not received until later in the year. In addition, several revenue items received in July and August are related to prior year activity and are therefore, consistent with prior years, accrued back to the prior fiscal year.
