ST
ATEMENT ON THE SUBJECT: Every two years, the City Council conducts a goal setting workshop to determine the City’s high priority goals for the next two years, which are then reflected in the City’s Operational and Capital Improvement Plan Budgets. In preparation for the Fiscal Years 2025/26 and 2026/27 mid-cycle Operating Budget, as well as the Fiscal Years 2026/27 and 2027/28 Capital Improvement Program (CIP) Budget, staff have compiled a summary of project accomplishments and status updates aligned with the current City Council goals. The next goal -setting workshop is anticipated in early 2027, at which time the City Council is expected to consider adoption of the 2027–2029 City Council Goals.

4. A Cleaner, More Beautiful Vista
5. Climate and Environmental Responsibility

8. Traffic: Continue to enhance mobility safety, improve the flow of traffic for all forms of travel, reduce congestion, and improve our roads and sidewalks.
