SPECIAL MEETING - 6:00 pm
1) CALL TO ORDER: Mayor
Thismeeting was called to order by Mayor Reyna at 6:02 pm and announced the meeting was being held Pursuant to AB 361 issued by Governor Newsom on September 20, 2021, and Government Code 54953( e). All members are joining this meeting remotely via Zoom Webinar,
2) ROLL CALL:
Present: Mayor Reyna, Mayor Pro Tem Pallares, Council Members: Garcia, Lynch, Martinez
3) FLAG SALUTE: Led by Mayor Reyna
4) PUBLIC COMMENTS: None
Deputy City Clerk Flores informed the council there was a request for interpretation in Spanish for this meeting and gave instructions on how to select the language for interpretation.
The translator then proceeded to conduct the Spanish translation. 5) PUBLIC HEARING:
a. Review draft maps adjusting district boundaries and Conduct Public Hearing No. 2 to receive public input on district boundaries.

The consultant asked the Council for their consideration of accepting the submittal due to its low deviation of population per district. The consensus of the Council was to accept the presentation of all six draft maps and selected three final draft maps, numbers 4, 51 and 6 to be presented at the third public hearing.
