SPECIAL MEETING - 6:00 pm
1) CALL TO ORDER:
Thismeeting was called to order by Mayor Reyna at 6:00 pm and announced the meeting was being held Pursuant to AB 361 issued by Governor Newsom on September 20, 2021, and Government Code 54953( e). All members are joining this meeting remotely via Zoom Webinar.
2) ROLL CALL:
Present: Mayor Reyna, Mayor Pro Tem Pallares, Council Members: Garcia, Lynch, Martinez
3) FLAG SALUTE: Led by Mayor Reyna
Deputy City Clerk Flores informed the council there was a request for interpretation in Spanish for this meeting and gave instructions on how to select the language for interpretation.
The translator then proceeded to conduct the Spanish translation. 4) PUBLIC COMMENTS: None
5) PUBLIC HEARING:
a. Introduce and Waive the FirstReading of an Ordinance of the City of Wasco Amending Chapter 2.09 (Elections) of the Wasco Municipal Code and replacing the Council District Map.
Presentation by consultants Kent Martin and Alex Brasch from FLO Analytics City of Wasco City Council Redistricting Drat Map Revisions City Manager Hurlbert suggested council to select their preferred draft map after the public hearing has closed.
Mayor Reyna opened the public hearing at 6:22 P.M.

Motion was made by Mayor Reyna to select Draft Map # 6 as the preferred map, Seconded by Council Member Garcia, to introduce and waive the firstfull reading of an Amended Ordinance with the attached preferred map by the following roll call votes:
