CITY OF WEED CITY COUNCIL
SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES
MARCH 10, 2022
The City Council of the City of Weed held a regular meeting on Thursday, March 10, 2022 at 3:30 pm in the Council Chambers at City Hall. Mayor Kim Greene called the meeting to order and led recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance. Present, in addition to Mayor Greene, were Council Members Stacey Green, Ken Palfini, and Susan Tavalero. Also present were City Attorney David Ruderman, City Manager Tim Rundel, and City Clerk Sandra Duchi.
Council Member Palfini moved to excuse Council Member Hall from the meeting. Council Member Green seconded the motion and the vote was:
AYES: Council Member Green, Greene, Palfini, and Tavalero NOES: None
ABSENT: Council Member Hall
III. NON-AGENDA PUBLIC COMMENT
There was none.
IV. ADJOURN TO CLOSED SESSION
Council Member Palfini moved to adjourn. Council Member Tavalero seconded the motion and the vote was:
AYES: Council Member Green, Greene, Palfini, and Tavalero NOES: None
ABSENT: Council Member Hall
V. CLOSED SESSION
A. Pubic Employee Performance (§ 54957): City Manager
B. Conference with Labor Negotiators (§ 54957.6) Weed Police Officers Association (Sworn and NonSworn) Tim Rundel City Manager.
VI. ADJOURN TO OPEN SESSION
Council Member Green moved to adjourn to open session. Council Member Tavalero seconded the motion and the vote was:
AYES: Council Member Green, Greene, Palfini, and Tavalero NOES: None
ABSENT: None
No reportable action on item A.
Item B reported Council Members Palfini and Green are appointed as labor negotiators for AD HOC Committee.
