1. Informational Presentation @ 4:30 by Maddelyn Bryan Staff Services Analyst III Health and Human Services Agency regarding the Permanent Local Housing Allocation (PLHA) program.
Maddelyn Bryan presented information on the PLHA program. Council Members questions were asked and answered.
2. Minutes – By Motion approve City Council Minutes for Work Session, and Regular Meeting Minutes from 6/09/2022. No discussion.
3. Financial Report(s) – By Motion approve payment warrants dated from 04/13/2022 through 06/01/2022 including any voided warrants totaling $329,351.65. No discussion.
4. Finance/Month End – by Motion approve and file month end finance reports for the month(s) through June 2022. No discussion.
5. By Motion, hold second reading and adoption, by title only of Ordinance No. 469-2022 Imposing a Quarter-Cent Transactions and Use Tax for General Governmental Purposes. City Attorney presented staff report. Council Members questions were asked and answered.
6. By Motion, consider approval of Resolution No. 19-2022 calling for, providing for, and giving notice of the general municipal election to be held in the city of weed, county of Siskiyou, State of California, on the 8th day of November, 2022, for the purpose of submitting to the voters the city of weed transactions and use tax of 2022 to levy a transactions and use (sales) tax of a quarter percent.
City Attorney presented staff report. Council Members questions were asked and answered.
