NOTICE AND CALL FOR A SPECIAL MEETING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Special Meeting/Closed Session of the Council of the City of Weed will take place at the date, time, and location listed below.
Said Special Meeting shall be for the purpose of conducting business on the subject matters listed below:

All items listed under the Consent Agenda are routine and will be approved by one motion with a vote.
There will be no separate discussion of these items unless Council request specific items be removed prior to the time the Council votes on the motion. All resolutions, and ordinances on this agenda, or added hereto, shall be adopted by title only and the full reading thereof is hereby waived. Any items removed will be considered after the motion to approve the Consent Agenda.
A. Council will consider holiday closure of City Hall December 23,2022 through January 2, 2023.
B. Council will consider Amendment to PACE Contract (Vista Drive) C. Council will consider Licensing Agreement with Luminwood, LLC.
D. Council will consider adoption of Resolution 20-2022 and enter into an Agreement with the County of Siskiyou for the Joint Participation of the Permanent Local Housing Allocation Funding Program.
E. Minutes - By Motion approve City Council Minutes for Work Session, and Regular Meeting Minutes from 8/11/2022, and Special Meeting Minutes from 9/6/2022
F. Financial Report(s) - By Motion approve payment warrants dated from 8/09/2022 through 9/08/2022 including any voided warrants totaling $763,499.85.
G. Finance/Month End - by Motion approve and file month end finance reports for the month(s) of August 2022.

Public input is invited. Individual speakers will be limited to 3 minutes each with a 20- minute maximum per item.
As a rule, and unless otherwise expressly permitted by the presiding officer, after a motion is made by a member of the Council on the matter under consideration, no member of the public shall address or be permitted to address the Council.
A. Planning Commission: Council will consider appointment to the Planning Commission for a full term ending January 31, 2026 (one letter of interest).
B. Discussion Item: Council will discuss Council Protocol and Ethics Handbook (two examples).
