Notice is hereby given:
The City Council will conduct a Work Session at City Hall 550 Main Street, Weed, CA 96094 on Thursday, December 8, 2022 at 4:30 pm. Tentative topics include:
Canvass of Ballots: By Motion - adopt Resolution No. 30-2022 Declaring the results of the November 8, 2022, General Election.
Administer the Oath of Office to the Newly Elected Council Members.
Election of Mayor and Mayor Pro Tempore by the Council.
Public Works: By Motion – Approve Task Order and Subrecipient Agreement for the 2023 Water and Sewer Infrastructure Improvement Project.
Human Resources: By Motion – Approve Employee pay for Mill Fire Incident.
Administration: By Motion – Approve Resolution No. 31-2022 Authorizing 2022/2023 claim against the Local Transportation Fund.
Library: By Motion – Approve additional funding request for the Weed Library.
Minutes: By Motion – Approve City Council Minutes for Work Session, and Regular Meeting Minutes from 11/10/2022.
Financial Report(s) – By Motion, approve payment warrants dated from 11/10/2022 through 11/25/2022 including any voided warrants totaling $217,907.93.
Finance: Month End – By Motion approve and file month end finance reports for the month(s) of October 2022, and November 2022.
Collection Services – C&D Waste request for additional payment.
Administration - by Motion, adopt Resolution No. 32-2022 Adopting the City of Weed Code of Ethics and Conduct for Elected and appointed Officials.
Administration – by Motion, adopt Resolution No. 33-2022 establishing a City of Weed Measure O Citizens Advisory Committee to review proposed spending plans and monitor the expenditures of the funds raised from the Measure O sales tax measure.
