The City Council will conduct a Work Session at City Hall 550 Main Street, Weed, CA 96094 on Thursday, June 8, 2023, at 4:30 pm. Tentative topics include:
Fire Dept – By Motion – Approve submission of grant application to the California Fire Foundation (CFF) for handheld radios. (No city match)
Fire Dept – By Motion – Approve submission of grant application to the California Fire Safe Council (CFSC) in the amount of $500,000.00. (No city match)
Planning – By Motion – Accept 2022 Housing Element Annual Progress Report.
By Motion - Approve City Council Minutes for Special Meeting, and Regular Meeting Minutes from 5/11/2023.
By Motion - Approve payment warrants dated from 5/10/2023 through 5/25/2023 including any voided warrants totaling $350,584.80.
Melissa Whetstine, Measure O Committee Chair to present the Measure O Committee recommendations for FY 23/24 and 24/25.
Finance – By Motion, consider agreement between the City of Weed and the Siskiyou Community Resource Collaborative, dba Family and Community Resource Center of Weed, and set funding amount for 23/24 and 24/25 fiscal year(s).
Finance – By Motion, consider agreement between the City of Weed and the Weed Recreation and Parks District, and set funding amount for 23/24 and 24/25 fiscal year(s).
Finance – By Motion, consider adoption of Resolution No. 09-2023 approving the FY 23/24 and 24/25 Municipal Budget.
Transient Occupancy Tax (TOT) – by Motion, consider requests for TOT and approve allocations.
