Kory Hayden to present the quarterly update from the Siskiyou Economic Development Council.
Administration - By Motion - Approve Resolution No. 12-2023 accepting acquisition of Property located at 150 Alamo Ave. and authorizing the City Manager to execute documents.
Fire Department – By Motion – Approve Resolution No. 13-2023 approving Grant Agreement No. 7GF23304 with the State of California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE).
Administration – By Motion – Approve Resolution No. 15-2023 adopting Finance Policy 109, Policy on Grant Management and Administration.
Police Department and Public Works Department – By Motion – Adopt Resolution No. 16 -2023 approving disposal of surplus vehicles.
Public Works – By Motion – Approve Change Order No. 1 for the 2023 Water and Sewer Infrastructure Improvements Project.
By Motion - Approve City Council Minutes for Study Session, Work Session, and Regular Meeting Minutes from 08/10/2023.
By Motion - Approve payment warrants dated 08/09/2023 through 08/24/2023 including any voided warrants totaling $505,181.82.
By Motion – Approve and file month end report for September 2023.
Public Works - by Motion, the Council will consider a second amendment to the Agreement for the Collection of Solid Waste within the City of Weed.
Public Works – by Motion, the Council will consider awarding a contract for the Mill Fire Water System Recovery Project.
All items were discussed in an open forum. Council Members’ questions were asked and answered. No action is taken at this meeting.
