CITY OF WEED CITY COUNCIL
SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES
December 14, 2023
The City Council of the City of Weed held a special meeting on Thursday, December 14, 2023, at 4:30 pm in the Council Chambers at City Hall. Mayor Ken Palfini called the meeting to order and led recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance. Present, in addition to Mayor Palfini, were Council Members Mark Mazzoni, Darrell Parham, and Susan Tavalero. Also present were City Manager Tim Rundel, and City Clerk Sandra Duchi. Council Member Bob Hall was present at 4:36pm.
PUBLIC COMMENT
There was none.
Council Member Mazzoni moved to adjourn to closed session. Council Member Tavalero seconded the motion, and the vote was:
AYES: Council Member Mazzoni, Palfini, Parham, and Tavalero NOES: None
ABSENT: Hall
CLOSED SESSION
A. Conference with legal counsel; Anticipated litigation (gov. Code § 54956.9(e)(1)) number of potential cases: one (1)
Council Member Mazzoni moved to adjourn to closed session at 5:00 pm. Council Member Parham seconded the motion, and the vote was:
AYES: Council Member Hall, Mazzoni, Palfini, Parham, and Tavalero NOES: None
ABSENT: None
The mayor entered the Council Chambers and reported there was no reportable action. _________________________________
