Council Work Session Minutes

The City Council conducted a Work Session at City Hall 550 Main Street, Weed, CA 96094 on Thursday, January 11, 2024, at 5:00 pm. Tentative topics include:
Presentation: Melissa Cummins, Executive Director for the Siskiyou County Local Transportation Commission.
Public Works – by Motion – the Council will consider approval of Resolution No. 01-2024 approving PACE Task Order 2023-05.
Fire – by Motion – the Council will consider approval of Resolution No. 02-2024 adopting budget adjustments.
Fire – by Motion approving the Weed Fire Department to file an application for the Assistance to Fire Fighter Grant (AFG) 2024.
By Motion - Approve City Council Minutes for Special Meeting, Work Session, and Regular Meeting Minutes from 12/14/2023.
By Motion - Approve payment warrants dated 12/12/2023 through 12/21/2023 including any voided warrants totaling $350,733.72.
By Motion – Approve and file month end report for December 2023.
Finance– by Motion –Council will receive draft audit and consider Resolution No. 03-2024 accepting and filing the Fiscal Year 2021-2022 Basic Financial Statements and Single Audit Report(s).
Public Safety – By Motion –Council will consider the introduction and first reading of Ordinance No. 472- 2023 amending of the WMC regarding Administrative Fines and Penalties.
All items were discussed in an open forum. Council Members questions were asked and answered. _______________________________
