NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Special Meeting of the Council of the City of Weed will take place at the date, time, and location listed above.

3. PUBLIC BUSINESS FROM THE FLOOR
Pursuant to California Government Code §54954.3(a), members of the public wishing to address the Council may do so before or during consideration of any item that has been described in the notice for the meeting. Please keep comments concise and observe time limits. Individual speakers will be limited to 3 minutes each with a 20-minute maximum for public comment.

A. By Motion - Discuss and consider adopting Resolution 40-2024 canceling the November 5, 2024, election and appointing the nominated City Council candidates to the positions that were to be filled at the election.
