SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES
FEBRUARY 3, 2025
The City Council of the City of Weed held a special meeting on Monday February 3, 2025, at 5:11pm in the Council Chambers at City Hall. Mayor Darrell Parham called the meeting to order and led recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance. Present, in addition to Mayor Parham, were Council Members Mark Mazzoni, Ken Palfini, Phet Virasonh, and Melissa Whetstine. Also present were Interim City Manager Steve Baker, Public Works Director Chris Davis, City Clerk Sandra Duchi, and City Engineer Curtis Paget via zoom.
PUBLIC COMMENT
There was none.
WORKSHOP
A. Wastewater Workshop
Public Works Director Davis introduced Curtis Paget from PACE Engineering. Curtis discussed the status of both wastewater treatment facilities, the need for improvements, timeline, expense, and possible funding opportunities. Council Members questions were asked and answered. The council gave directions to staff.
ADJOURN TO CLOSED SESSION
Council Member Palfini moved to adjourn to closed session at 7:12pm, Council Member Whetstine seconded the motion, and the vote was:
AYES: Council Member Mazzoni, Palfini, Parham, Virasonh, and Whetstine NOES: None
ABSENT: None
ABSTAIN: None

Council Member Mazzoni moved to adjourn to open session at 8:55pm. Council Member Palfini seconded the motion, and the vote was:
