1. Call to Order:
Budget Workshop called to order by Mayor Parham at 5:30 p.m.
2. Roll Call:
Mazzoni – Present | Palfini – Present | Parham – Present | Virasonh – Present | Whetstine – Present.
Also in attendance were City Manager Dustin Stambaugh, Police Chief Justin Mayberry, Public Works Director Chris Davis, Finance Director/Treasurer Jill Porterfield, Building and Code Inspector Mike Britton, and City Clerk Sandra Duchi
3. Public Comment:
Taylor Nichols requested information regarding the library budget.
4. Council Business
A. Budget Workshop Information and Discussion, with possible direction(s) to staff – No Action.
Finance Director/City Treasurer Porterfield presented budget items and areas of concern. Council Member questions were asked and answered. Direction was given to staff to move forward with a
1.5% transaction and use tax measure, more defined costs for a new fire station, list of properties owned by the city and insurance costs for each for surplus consideration, and a review of health insurance.
