The City Council finds, based on advice from the City Attorney, that discussion in open session of the following described matters will prejudice the position of the City in existing and anticipated litigation:
INITIATION OF LITIGATION: Gov’t Code section 54956.9(d)(4) a. ANTICIPATION OF LITIGATION: Gov’t Code section 54956.9(d)(2) and (e)(3) A point has been reached where, in the opinion of the City Council on the advice of its legal counsel, there is a significant exposure to litigation against the City.
