City Council meeting agendas are published in both English and Spanish.
Meeting Schedule: Regular meetings of the City Council are held on the first and third Wednesdays of each month at 7:00 p.m. Please review the online meeting calendar for any potential changes to the schedule.
In-Person Comment on Agenda Items: Submit a request to speak card with the City Clerk prior to the conclusion of the Public Comment period or prior to the conclusion of the staff presentation on the item that you wish to make a comment.
Each speaker has three (3) minutes to address the Council unless the maximum time allowed is amneded by the Mayor.
The in-person comment period will conclude before the virtual public comment begins. No additional in-person comments for an item will be heard following the conculsion of the in-person comment period.
Remote Public Comment on Agenda Items: Members of the public may participate remotely via Zoom as indicated below.
Speakers who wish to provide public comment must raise their virtual hand when prompted by the City Clerk. Members of the public participating by telephone may raise their hand to provide comment by pressing *9. Each speaker has three (3) minutes to address the Council unless the maximum time allowed is amneded by the Mayor. The remote comment period will close when the last remote speaker finishes speaking.

Brown Act: According to State Law, the City Coucnil is prohibited from discussing or acting on any issues not on the agenda.
Levine Act Provisions: Any party to a permit, license, contract (other than competitively bid, labor or personal employment contracts) or other entitlement before the Council is required to disclose on the record any contribution, including aggregated contributions, of more than $500 made by the party or the party’s agents within the preceding 12 months to any Council Member. Participants and agents are requested to make this disclosure as well. The disclosure must include the name of the party or participant and any other person making the contribution, the name of the recipient, the amount of the contribution, and the date the contribution was made.
Americans with Disabilites Act: If special assistance is required to participate in a meeting, including the need of auxillary aids or translation services, please notify the City Clerk’s Office at least 72 hours in advance of the meeting.
