1. CONDUCTING THE NOVEMBER 5, 2024 GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION FOR TWO COUNCILMEMBER POSITIONS; RESOLUTION NOS. 2351-24 and 2352-24 - Adopt Resolution No. 2351-24 to call for the holding of a General Municipal Election on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, for the election of certain 2939375.2
officers as required by the provisions of the laws of the State of California relating to general law cities; and adopt Resolution No. 2352-24 to request that the Board of Supervisors of the County of Los Angeles consolidate a General Municipal Election to be held on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, with the Statewide General Election to be held on that date.

1. THREE SPRINGS PARK SHADE STRUCTURE PROJECT — APPROVAL OF
PURCHASE AGREEMENT AWARD, INSTALLATION AGREEMENT AWARD, AND CEQA EXEMPTION DETERMINATION – Approve a CEQA Notice of Exemption filing for the Shade Structure at Three Springs Park Project; approve a Purchase Agreement with Landscape Structures, Inc. in the amount of $21,349.49; approve an Installation Agreement with Evergreen Environment, Inc. in the amount of $8,500.00; approve project management and inspection fees with Willdan Engineering in the amount of $2,500 and authorize the Mayor to sign and execute the agreements on behalf of the City.
2. COMMUNITY PARK PICKLEBALL COURTS PROJECT UPDATE AND
REQUEST FOR INCREASE IN CONSTRUCTION CONTINGENCY - City Council appropriate $83,589 of Community Benefit Fee to the Community Pickleball Courts project, authorize the City Manager to approve additional construction change orders up to $75,139 for the completion of the project, and approve RRM contract Amendment No. 4 to add $8,450 for landscape architectural and civil engineering support.
